Ever positive, calm and in control, Christin personally plans and coordinates the logistics of every Cloche wedding and event. She brings two decades of professional experience ranging from visual arts, public relations and advertising, to corporate-level event management for highly sophisticated and demanding clients including AT&T, Coca-Cola, the NCAA, CBS and Turner Sports, to name a few. Cloche clients benefit from her extensive, invaluable knowledge of production logistics on every scale gained from years of hands-on experience managing complex installations of massive events.
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Christin spent two years studying musical theater, a passion that has translated into her specialized, unique expertise as it relates to all aspects of event entertainment. A self-proclaimed computer nerd, Christin’s technology expertise and graphic design acumen culminate as she designs comprehensive event floor plans and produces beautiful, story-telling design boards to bring client visions to life. Her impeccable presentation deliverables are a first-class signature of the Cloche client service experience.
She is highly skilled at conflict resolution and manages difficult situations and family dynamics with integrity, dignity and unflappable poise. Her delightful demeanor and nurturing skills shine as she works with extreme precision, from graciously guiding couples down the aisle to cuing fireworks to the beat of music. Clients relax as she effortlessly delivers joy-filled, concierge client service every step of the way. Laura Nell believes that mixing styles, colors and textures to create rich, layered event spaces is central to loveliness, and has a knack for making magic out of the otherwise mundane. She works collaboratively with her clients to clearly understand their unique vision, then creates designs that turn their gorgeous dreams into magazine-worthy realities. She infuses impeccable taste into the Cloche design process, holding carefully-selected vendors to the highest of standards every step of the way, and personally manages every single aspect of each event installation from start to finish. In the end, this highly-detailed, hands-on approach to achieve perfection down to the very last exquisite detail results in that certain magic that is the hallmark of the Cloche brand.
The University of Texas at Austin graduate’s education and more than two decades of professional experience run the gamut of interior design, public relations, events, advertising and marketing. Laura Nell spent eight years in the Big Four accounting industry with Arthur Andersen, KPMG and Grant Thornton, so she is well-versed in budget formulation and management which translates into smart contract negotiation and strategic allocation of dollars. Blended with her creativity, this unique balance of right and left-brain talents greatly benefits the overall event design process and, of upmost importance, the bottom line.
